While the owners have quite a few vacation rental units in the area, this may be their absolute personal favorite! Lovingly remodeled several years ago, this beach cottage was expanded and decorated with beautiful furnishings and all the comforts of home. A dining room, kitchen island, half bath and incredible deck were all added to make this a very special beach cottage. This two bedroom, one and half bathroom unit features a fully appointed kitchen with dishwasher and basic staples. The large private deck offers a view of the Pacific Ocean, outdoor dining in the very temperate Carlsbad climate, and your own fire pit which makes a nice place for the family to gather after a day at the beach. The location is perfect- a half block to one of the most expansive beaches in southern California and very close walking distance to the highly acclaimed Carlsbad Village. The Village offers quaint restaurants, antique stores, clothing boutiques, a weekly Farmers Market, yoga, beer and wine tasting, and much more. This unit also includes air conditioning, a reserved off-street parking space, BBQ, washer/dryer, flat screen TV, access to an outdoor hot water shower to rinse off the sand upon your return from the beach, and of course complimentary Wifi. Master bedroom features a queen-sized bed while the second bedroom has a full-sized bed and bunk bed that kids love. The extra half bath that was added in the second bedroom during the remodel really helps make guests in this room feel more comfortable.

Don’t worry about a thing- we provide beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards, BBQ, washer/dryer and an outdoor hot shower for rinsing after your return from beach. Your unit also features air conditioning, private deck with seating, private fire pit, a flat screen TV with DIRECTV and of course, complimentary Wi-fi.

Your kitchen is equipped with modern appliances including a dishwasher and basic pantry staples such as coffee, creamer, tea, flour, sugar, popcorn and hot cocoa.

Be it the sandy beach across the street or the Carlsbad Village, the Walnut Beach property is close to it all. Park your car upon arrival and walk to the local coffee shop, restaurants or breweries.
